Breech Lane Curry House is my home based Indian cookery school from where curry lovers learn to prepare authentic Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian food that is healthy, honest and homemade. My in person classes have resumed and here’s the exciting bit – my participants will now enjoy the experience of creating some delicious authentic Indian food from my brand new bespoke home cookery studio with an outdoor bbq and tandoor oven along with a cozy indoor and outdoor dining space. It takes you to a truly special space and ambience that offers a very warm Indian welcome!
Over the course of 2020 and 2021 I have also extended my offerings to include online Indian cookery classes. These will continue for those participants that prefer to learn form the comfort of their own kitchen, live further away or outside the UK
I am also restarting my monthly Curry Night supper clubs from November 2021. Look out for Christmas dining experiences – dates will come out shortly!
Finally, I also offer private chef events , offering guests a 4 course dining experience from the comfort of their own home Each dish on the menu is a handpicked family recipe, known for the originality and authenticity it brings to the plate.
What sets my foodie venture apart is a strong focus on using local produce, simple cooking techniques, quality ingredients such as freshly roasted spices with food prepared in olive oil to offer an honest, traditional and healthy take on Indian food.
I promote my traditional family recipes, some of which have been in my family for generations. We prepare both non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes along with a selection of Indian wholemeal rotis (breads), rice dishes, chutneys and raitas (flavoured yogurt) that go well with these. All my classes have a session on demystifying Indian spices – as they form the backbone of all Indian curries.
