Breech Lane Curry House is my home based Indian cookery school from where curry lovers learn to prepare authentic Indian vegetarian and non vegetarian food that is healthy, honest and homemade. My FACE to FACE COOKERY CLASSES will resume from May 2021 and here’s the exciting bit – my participants will be able to enjoy the experience of creating some delicious authentic Indian food from my brand new home garden based cookery studio with an outdoor bbq and tandoor oven.
Over the course of 2020 and 2021 I have extended my offerings to include ONLINE INDIAN COOKERY CLASSES. These will continue for those participants that prefer to learn form the comfort of their own kitchen, live further away or outside the UK
My monthly Curry Night supper clubs are currently on hold. They are normally held from my home.
I also offer private chef events , offering guests a 4 course dining experience of handpicked family recipes, each dish known for the originality and authenticity it brings to the plate.
What sets my foodie venture apart is a strong focus on using local produce, simple cooking techniques, quality ingredients such as freshly roasted spices with food prepared in olive oil to offer an honest, traditional and healthy take on Indian food.
I promote my traditional family recipes, some of which have been in my family for generations. We prepare both non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes along with a selection of Indian wholemeal rotis (breads), rice dishes, chutneys and raitas (flavoured yogurt) that go well with these. All my classes have a session on demystifying Indian spices – as they form the backbone of all Indian curries.
