If you would like to treat a loved one to an intimate and homely Indian cooking experience, I offer personalised gift vouchers of my cookery classes and courses (both face to face and online sessions). The vouchers are personalised with their name and occasion (birthdays, anniversary, Christmas)

I offer four types of vouchers for a single class:

a) vouchers for a face to face group Indian cookery class: The group classes run through out the year. Priced at £85 per person, the group classes are small in size with no more than 6 participants per session. There is food tasting throughout with enough left over to pack to take home. My most popular group classes are the Family Secrets class where we learn to prepare a starter/ side dish, a main course curry and accompaniments such as parathas (indian naan bread). For those who love an array of delicious Indian starters and dips of all types, the Indian Street Food Class and the Indian Inspired BBQ would be a great fit. Details can be viewed by clicking this link: Classes & Prices

b) vouchers for a face to face bespoke private group session: these are apt for families and friends that would like to spend time together in a cosy home environment, learning my special family recipes. The bespoke session offers flexibility with the dates and the menu. It is created with the requirements of the group in mind. Priced at £85 per person for a group of 5-6 participants; £90 per person for 4 participants; £95 per person for group of 3; £100 per person for group of 2

c) vouchers for a private face to face 1:1 session: these are customised to suit the individual. The menu is handpicked for the participant. The date is driven by their availability. Priced at £125

d) vouchers for ONLINE cookery classes: during these unusual times of social distancing, I am running online cookery classes in small groups. These are live, interactive cook alongs with a focus on family recipes and authentic dishes. Vouchers are priced at £20 per class though bundles of 4 different online classes can be purchased at a discount for £75. Valid for 6 months with classes running well into 2021. You will find more information on the link below: NEW ONLINE COOKERY SESSIONS

All face to face class vouchers are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase. I am offering greater flexibility on timelines during the Covid 19 crisis

I offer two types of courses:

a) The intermediate level course consists of two sessions. The 1st session is a group class (group classes run through out the year offering multiple dates to choose from). The 2nd one is a private 1:1 session where the participant masters technical dishes such as dum cooked biryanis, South Indian dosas, Xacuti based curries to name a few dishes with an introduction to a whole new world of niche Indian spices and techniques. The private class is designed with the individual in mind, based on their likes/ dislikes. The price of a voucher for an intermediate course is £190

b) The advanced level course consists of 3 sessions. It offers 2 group classes that run on multiple dates throughout the year and 1 private 1:1 session. Each group class offers a different menu of dishes to learn. The private 1:1 session offers a set of complicated dishes and new techniques with an introduction to a variety of complex spices. The participants would learn to master complex dishes such as lamb dum biryanis, xacuti based curries, curries prepared with different techniques and unique ingredient combinations, South Indian lentil based dosas to name some.  The private sessions are very personalised to suit the participants in terms of their availability and their food likes and dislikes. The menu is handpicked with them in mind. Price of an advanced course voucher is £270

The above vouchers are valid for 18 months from the date of purchase

I also offer beautifully packaged spice kits and gift bags: here are some examples –

Spice kits: this includes a gift box containing 3 of my special home made spice rubs (these come with 2 curry recipes – a Goan chicken curry recipe and a chickpea curry recipe). This is for £15. You can add 8 other spice pouches of ingredients such as dry fenugreek, hing,  home roasted and ground coriander powder and cumin powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, mustard seeds and a pouch of assorted whole spices for an additional £10. This is a great addition to an online class voucher as your curry lover will only need to source the perishables like vegetables and meat for the session!
Gift bag: this contains 3 spice jars of my home made spice rubs that come with 2 curry recipes to use them in. This is for £15. Add my home made lime pickle or Mango chutney for an additional £5 or both for £10 – all have been home made using my family recipes
You can also add on my spice jars, pickles or chutneys on top for £5 a jar to any of the offerings above.

A bit more about my spice rubs – These 30g bottles come with cooking tips for guidance and links to specific recipes on the website that champion these spice rubs. Each spice rub has been lovingly prepared using a medley of 15-20 different whole spices, each individually roasted and ground to give you that perfect mix.

The spice kits and gift bags can be added on to the cookery class gift voucher to enhance the gift experience. The kit/ bag can be posted to you (at a small charge) or collected from my home.  It can also be handed over to the participant (on the day of their face to face cookery session). The individual jars make for lovely Xmas stocking fillers too!

Family recipes that champion these spice blends:

This is a great gift idea for those who are serious about Indian cooking and are likely to cook an Indian meal regularly. I decided to offer filled up spice tins with the spices we use in our class instead of empty ones to help and encourage participants to recreate their newly acquired Indian cookery skills as quickly as possible after my session. Not only have these been very popular with my existing participants, a number of whom have purchased these after a session,  but spice tins have also enhanced the gift experience alongside a cookery class/ course gift voucher! Priced between £28 to £30 a tin based on the type (see through glass top or metal top). The tin can be collected from my home.  If you are unable to collect it, the spice tin can also be handed over to the participant on the day of their cookery session.
